Chinese Medicine, in the hands of a well trained professional, has a great deal to offer with all kinds of fertility and reproductive problems - for both men and women.

There are many different and important aspects involved in being able to get pregnant, have a good pregnancy, and have a happy and healthy baby at the  end of it.

Acupuncture is usually incredibly helpful for post natal depression too -birth might be natural, but it can be challenging and exhausting , and sometimes we need some help at the end of the pregnancy too.

Being able to get pregnant in the first instance can be a real problem,, Acupuncture can be of great assistance in treating obstacles to conception, and it's always great to have treatment before going into IVF if possible.

Often the starting point is to re-establish the womans  cycle, and help it become regular again. We also ask all Fertility Patients to use Body Basal Temperature (BBT) and charting, as this is super helpful to literally see what is and isn't happening at different stages of the cycle.

Its also important to ensure that men are healthy in all aspects as well - poor sperm production and motility need addressing, and here too Acupuncture is clinically proven to help.

Acupuncture is also clinically proven to help reduce side effects of fertility drugs and assist in reducing miscarriage rate, improving implantation and generally helping our emotional well being too .
